Heart disease is one of those silent killers for which it
is important to watch. However, in order to identify heart disease in
yourself or those around you, you need to be at least somewhat familiar with
the symptoms associated with it. With that in mind, here are a few of the

you care about.
- Coronary Heart Disease
Coronary heart disease kills over 900,000 people in the United
States each year. In fact, in America, coronary heart disease kills
more people than the sum of the next 7 non-violent causes of death.
- Congenital Heart Disease
Congenital heart disease can be deadly, but is misunderstood by
many. For a lot of the population, there is no real difference
between heart disease and the distinguishing word of congenital.
- Ischemic Heart Disease
When there is a reduction of blood flow to the heart of a person,
then it may be a sign of ischemic heart disease. When you hear talk
of artery hardening or major arteries blocking, you are actually
hearing a description of what those in the medical field call
ischemic heart disease.
- Heart Valve Disease
Most heart valve disease is congenital, meaning a person may have
been born with a narrow heart valve, irregular sized valve flaps,
stiff or leaky valves. People with a congenital valvular disease may
have known of their condition since birth or have only come to know
of their disease when they reach adulthood.
- Preventing Heart Disease
Preventing heart disease is easy and simple. The hard part is
having the heart to do these simple steps daily. But if you value your heart and
your life, you might reconsider your daily habits or way of living and consider

person can acquire it only if he were suffering from a chronic lung
disease. It is hard to pinpoint this heart disease at an early stage
for it appears only after the lung disease has grown worse.

Reversing heart disease is something that can be done, in many
cases, through some simple changes in lifestyle. It is funny that
all it takes are some little changes to reverse the effects of this
deadly disease, and yet many fail to do it.
- Recognizing Heart Attack Symptoms

in surviving one. The sooner a heart attack victim can get to the
emergency room the greater their chance of survival.
- Rheumatic Fever and Rheumatic Heart Disease

streptococcal pharyngitis develop rheumatic fever. Rheumatic fever
and rheumatic heart disease remain a significant public health

of highly virulent strains of group A streptococci.
